Happy 10th Birthday Samuel!

Happy Birthday to our fun-loving brother and son (to two very special people). May God bless your next year and may you enjoy it to the fullest. We love you.
Samuel, our tree climber.

And also our farmer.

Brothers are the best of friends. (The hat Samuel is wearing was given to him by Edgar for his 8th birthday.)

His Ways Above Ours

God has shown us that His ways are exceedingly above ours.
We have been dreaming about moving to "our" acreage for over a year now, but since our house didn't sell, we haven't had the means to buy it. We heard that a family we know had bought an acreage south of Grassy Lake but since we were so sure that the acreage was for us, we comforted ourselves that there were more acreages south of Grassy Lake. Now yesterday, Uncle Rudolf and others confirmed that our acreage has sold! That really surprised us as we were so sure that we were moving there or else why would God keep it there for us until our house sold? It was such a perfect place and it seems like no other acreage compares to it. Now our dreams are crushed and it cost us some tears. But, in acceptance lieth peace, and this just shows that God is not limited to acreages or our plans and it also shows that God certainly does have a plan for our lives.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than you thoughts. (Isa. 55: 8,9)

Camping Trip to Saskatchewan

Camping? In Saskatchewan? Yes, we did and it was fun. We went camping there because some of  Horizon's guys are doing a job there. They, and their families, are staying in camping trailers there during the week and invited us to come and camp there on weekend. We, Janice and Nacho, and Adolf and Annie, accepted the invitation. We had a wonderful time even though it rained every few minutes. I took a lot of pictures but since I took them with Janice and Nacho's camera, I don't have them yet. Jonathan has already posted some pictures so you can click on his name to view them.
Keep tuned for pictures.
