A Post of Miscellaneous News

Hi Readers,
So many things have happened lately that I knew I had to update you. On Sunday, George and Tina had their fifth baby girl. I will try to get these baby names to you yet.
On Monday was Daddy's birthday as I wrote about in the previous post.
On Tuesday, we had piano recital at the old folk's home. It went fairly well. The Ungers hardly made any mistakes. Yippee. Then, in the evening we brought Gloria and Dave's children back. Afterward we went to Grandma and Grandpa. No, not in Two Hills, they came home for a few days. On the way we listened to CAM Open House Reports. You can get them and a slide presentation, free of charge, here. They are a Amish-Mennonite based mission that we really like. We got their slide presentation last year and really enjoyed it. Yesterday, while the men had brother's meeting downstairs, we watched the whole hour and twenty five minute slide presentation. It was really enjoyable.
Today, we got a package from CLE containing our Social Studies, an audio book and a math helper clock. That reminds me, yesterday Elfrieda finished K5 Math. Back to the package, Mama, Daddy, and Elfrieda went to Taber so we started listening to the audio book, Katie and the Neighbours. It's quite interesting even though I remember reading the book before. We children really like audio books, and we have most of CLE's audio books.
We have spent a lot of time outside these last few days. It's not that cold, just below freezing. We pumped our inner tubes up and now we use those to slide off our deck. We are really enjoying the little things although we wish for a big hill to sled. We do live in the plains of Alberta so there aren't many good sledding hills around here. Mama is talking about going sledding on Christmas break. I hope it turns out. So much for wishing, the deck is still fun.
