Washing the Driveway

We children thoroughly washed the driveway on Tuesday so that we could put sealer on it. Since we have an exposed aggregate driveway (Yes, I'm a cementer's daughter) we have to put sealer on it to keep it looking nice. We did it when it was just done and now it was high time that we did it again. We had lots of fun making it wet, scrubbing it, and then rinsing it off again. Here's some pictures.

Edgar (in swimming shorts so his pants wouldn't get wet)
doing the finishing spray in the carport.
Imelda, our faithful scrubber.

Busy, Busy, Busy.
There's time for play in the middle of work.
(At least for little brothers)

Leandro just loved spraying.
It didn't matter if his water ended up on
people, sidewalk, or sometimes the driveway.

Happy little sprayer.

Putting sealer on.
Edgar poured it on and I rolled it out.

Traded posts. That boy in the background came to play.

Here are some pictures that the girls took the next day.
They're getting to be good photographers.

Spring is Here!!!

  2. Your kids look adorable! Good thing they helped out in cleaning even if Leandro was just spraying everywhere. Hehe! Pressure cleaning is a good choice if you want to clean mold that are hard to remove. Thanks for sharing, and I'm looking forward to your next activity with your kids.
