Hi Friends now or maybe yet to be,
I told Mama I felt like I had left you behind. Not that very much special has happened this week. We did our schoolwork (as usual). On Monday Mama and I started a new skirt for me and Linda (our neighbor) came over. We made enchiladas and sent her home with some as David wasn't home for that night. On Tuesday we finished sewing my skirt. Yesterday we did our schoolwork and then in the afternoon Daddy told me that we are going to Great Falls. YIPPEE!! We always love going to Great Falls to shop and ever since Daddy asked the children if they wanted to go to Staybridge (our favorite motel) we've had an under current of excitement. Great Falls, Great Falls, Great Falls, is almost all we can think of. In fact some of the children could hardly concentrate on schoolwork. Speaking of schoolwork, I am very proud to announce that my little pupil Elfrieda can officially read. She doesn't know her long vowel sounds and is learning her consanent diagraphs. But she can read her first primer and is thoroughly enjoying it. You should see the look on her face when she can read a story and can hardly wait for the next part. I hope to get a picture of it yet. You don't realise the fulfillment until you spent so many hours trying to get a little girl to understand something and telling her again and again that words are not written on my mouth (or anything else for that matter) they're in the book. Well now she finally got it. I am so happy for her. I hope to update you on our two days in Great Falls next week some time.
Till next time,
Yesenia
